Fuerteventura, December 2014
Christmas holidays on Canary Islands again. This time Fuerteventura. A nice oportunity to escape the ugly German weather.
This time I have explored the island in many different ways: A sightseeing trip by bus, on a quad, on jetski, during a hike and on a dirt bike tour.
1
The flight
We go directly from Berlin Schönefeld
2
The Hotel
... is located in Costa Calma at the eastern shore. It welcomes us with a nice sunset
The next day a heron stops by
and we enjoy the sun and the pool
3
The sightseeing tour by bus
At Ajui beach we have a look at the rocks
Dad stays down at the beach
A donkey has to scoop water in Pajara
In Corralejo we can see bird island Isla de Lobos in the dust
Impressive and beautiful dunes in Parque Natural de las dunas
A goat cheese museum with old wind mill "Molina de Antigua"

The quad tour
The tour guide and I ride a quad. The other participants take buggies.
Nice views at the western shore
The "famous" surfer beach of La Pared at the west coast
Back to the east coast with view to Costa Calma
5
The hike
I do a hike tour on my own through the desert scenery at the smallest part of the island. I walk over to La Pared and back.
360 degree panorama from El Granillo
The surfer beach comes into sight
Just one surfing a little wave
On the way back view to the mountains
A nice area for motorbike rides
6
Jetski
I go to Morro Jable in the very south of the island
The group coming back into the harbor
7
Dirt bike tour
Tour with Enduro Guru Frank
