New York, May 2019

I am on a business trip in New York. I use some spare time to walk from 45th street 3.7 miles down to One World Trade Center in splendid weather. I want to have the view from One World Observatory, want to visit the 9/11 memorial and the new train station.

1 The walk

There is quite a walk ahead of me but the weather is brilliant and so is the city.

I pass the Chrysler Building
Met Life Building and Grand Central Station

One World Trade Center in a distance
I pass a Ducati shop
A Dainese shop on the other side
Almost there I see the new WTC station

2 One World Observatory

The view is great but the reflections from the glas screens spoil the view.

Big video shows in the lobby
Stories of the build process are being presented
On the observation deck. Unfortuantely completely closed with glass windows
Brilliant view to Manhattan

3 9/11 Memorial

A beautiful memorial to remember the terrorist attack to the towers of World Trade Center on 9/11 2001.
